ALK Hydrogen Generator

Overview

ALK hydrogen generators produce hydrogen gas through electrolysis, using an alkaline electrolyte solution.

Principle

Water is added to the generator.

Electrical energy splits water into hydrogen and oxygen.

Potassium hydroxide (KOH) or sodium hydroxide (NaOH) electrolyte facilitates ion exchange.

Hydrogen gas is collected and stored.
