Biomass Pellet Plant
Introduction
Biomass pellet plant produces densified biofuel pellets from agricultural, forestry, and organic residues.
Pellets are a renewable, eco-friendly alternative to coal, LPG, or natural gas.
Raw Materials / Feedstock
Agricultural residues: rice husk, wheat straw, sugarcane bagasse, corn stalks.
Forestry residues: sawdust, wood chips, branches, bark.
Industrial residues: paper waste, coconut shells, coffee husks.
Energy crops: switchgrass, miscanthus, bamboo.
Production Process
Raw Material Collection – gathering residues from farms, forests, or industries.
Chipping / Crushing – large biomass pieces are reduced in size.
Drying – moisture content reduced to ~10–15% (ideal for pelletizing).
Grinding – material ground into fine powder using hammer mills.
