Overview
Meltblown nonwoven plants are advanced industrial systems used to produce ultra-fine fiber nonwoven fabrics by extruding molten polymer through high-speed hot air streams. These fabrics are known for their excellent filtration efficiency and are widely used in medical, hygiene, and filtration applications.
Working Principle
Polymer granules (mainly polypropylene) are melted in an extruder.
Molten polymer is extruded through fine nozzles and attenuated by high-speed hot air.
Ultra-fine fibers are formed and collected as a web on a conveyor.
Self-bonding or thermal bonding strengthens the nonwoven structure.
Finished meltblown fabric is wound into rolls.
