Overview
Geotextile plants are industrial systems used to manufacture geotextile fabrics from synthetic fibers such as polypropylene (PP) and polyester (PET). These fabrics are widely used in civil engineering, construction, and environmental projects for soil stabilization, filtration, drainage, and reinforcement.
Working Principle
Synthetic fibers (PP/PET) are opened, blended, and formed into a web using carding or air-laying.
The fiber web is processed through cross-lapping for uniform thickness.
Bonding is done using needle punching, thermal bonding, or chemical bonding.
Optional coating or finishing enhances performance properties.
Finished geotextile fabric is wound into rolls for application use.
