Overview
Blown film extrusion plants are industrial systems used to produce plastic films by extruding molten polymer into a tubular bubble. The process allows for flexible film production with good strength and durability, making it widely used in packaging, agriculture, and industrial applications.
Working Principle
Polymer granules (LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE) are melted in an extruder.
Molten material is extruded through a circular die to form a tube.
Air is blown into the tube to form a bubble, stretching the film.
The bubble is cooled using air rings to stabilize film thickness.
The film is collapsed and wound into rolls for further processing.
