Overview
ALK hydrogen generators (alkaline electrolyzers) are industrial systems used to produce hydrogen gas through the electrolysis of water using an alkaline electrolyte (typically potassium hydroxide or sodium hydroxide). These systems are widely used for clean hydrogen production in industrial, energy, and fuel applications.
Working Principle
Water mixed with an alkaline electrolyte (KOH/NaOH) is fed into the electrolyzer.
Direct current (DC) electricity splits water into hydrogen and oxygen gases.
Hydrogen is generated at the cathode and oxygen at the anode.
Gas separation and purification systems ensure high-purity hydrogen output.
Hydrogen gas is stored or supplied for industrial use.
