Overview
Profile extrusion plants are industrial systems used to manufacture plastic profiles of various cross-sectional shapes by extruding molten polymer through custom-designed dies. These profiles are widely used in construction, automotive, electrical, and industrial applications.
Working Principle
Polymer granules (PVC, HDPE, PP, ABS, etc.) are melted in an extruder.
Molten material is forced through a custom profile die.
Cooling systems (water baths or air cooling) solidify the profile shape.
Haul-off units pull the profile at a controlled speed.
Profiles are cut to required lengths and collected.
